Judicial Committee

The GPSS Judicial Committee (JC) is composed of six Senators, elected by majority at the first Senate meeting, and the Secretary as a non-voting, ex-officio member.  Voting JC members cannot sit on any other internal GPSS committees.  JC members cannot run for GPSS office and must resign from their committee position at least 35 days prior to the officer election if they choose to run.  The JC is the standing investigative body of the GPSS and has the right to review all Bylaw amendments before they are presented to the full Senate.  The GPSS JC meets at least once per quarter, more often as needed.

The 2009-10 GPSS Judicial Committee is:

  • Maren Anderson (Scandinavian Studies)
  • Andy Baker-White (Public Health - Health Services)
  • Susan Dine (Art History)
  • Genevieve Farrar (Civil Engineering)
  • Nick Nasrallah (Psychology)
  • Natalia Sanoja (Law)
