Seeking representation for the following high profile committees

- Student Activity Fee (SAF) Committee. SAF meets to develop an annual recommended budget to the Board of Regents detailing how funds collected from the Services and Activities Fee (SAF) should be spent. Last year, the SAF committee developed and approved an additional student fee to fund the HUB, Hall Health, and Ethnic Cultural Center (ECC) rennovations. If you are interested in having a voice on how your student dollars are spent, consider applying for SAF. Meetings willl be held every Friday.
- Student Technology Fee (STF) Committtee. The STF provides funds for the improvement of technology used by the students of the University of Washington campus. Committee members are responsible for reviewing submitted applications and for allocating funds. If you are interered in various new technologies being considered on campus, consider applying for STF. STF meets weekly and has one vacant position.
- UW Emergency Management Planning Committee (EMPC). The EMPC meets bi-monthly to discuss planning, training, and other preparedness issues as well as to assist in disaster management programs. Recently, the committee addressed the University's response to the H1N1 Flu. If you are interested in emergency preparedness and risk assessment, this is the committee for you.
