ASUW CORE

Description: ASUW Committee Organizing Rape Education (CORE) is a student led , primarily volunteer based peer education group dedicated to spreading awareness and education about sexual assault and relationship violence throughout the university community. We accomplish this through presentations to classes, residence halls, fraternities, sororities and athletic teams. All CORE volunteers undergo 40 hours of sexual assault and relationship violence training over the course of winter and spring quarter in preparation of giving presentations the following year. CORE also hosts the annual Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Awareness (SARVA) Week which happens in early April. For more information you can contact us at asuwcore@u.washington.edu.
