FIUTS (Foundation for International Understanding Through Students) is a community non-profit organization which was established on the University of Washington campus in 1948. At the intersection of the University of Washington and our community, FIUTS inspires lifelong engagement in experiences that build global understanding. FIUTS is a place to meet people from around the world or around the corner to establish links of friendship and communication.

GO-MAP, a division of The University of Washington Graduate School, is committed to serving the needs of students of color and those from other underrepresented groups, while simultaneously providing opportunities for all students to learn and develop through experiences rich in cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity.

The Q Center facilitates and enhances an open, safe, inclusive, and celebratory environment for bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, Two-spirit, transgender, intersex, questioning, same-gender-loving, differently oriented, and allied students, faculty, and staff.

The office of International Students and Scholars (ISS) at the University of Washington provides assistance to 2500 nonimmigrant students and 1500 visiting faculty and scholars. Representing over 100 countries, these distinguished international visitors contribute to the institution's academic and research objectives and enhance the rich diversity and cosmopolitan character of the University.
