• ASUW
  While the ASUW primarily focuses on undergraduate issues, graduate and professional students are encouraged to participate and make use of the services and opportunities offered. ASUW is built upon a corporation model, lead by the Board of Directors. There is also a Student Senate as an opinion forming body (see below).

• ASUW Student Senate
  The Student Senate was established in 1994 out of the tradition of the ASUW Student Assembly. Its purpose: to increase democratic access to the Association and to provide a broad-based student forum for discussion of salient issues.

• Faculty Senate
  The UW Faculty Senate shares university governance with the President and the academic deans, with powers delegated by both statute and the actions of the Board of Regents.
